The School of Public Affairs in the Watts College of Public Service and Community Solutions at Arizona State University is seeking one full-time, benefits-eligible, 9-month, non-tenure-track assistant teaching professor in public administration/policy to teach in the MPA program of the Hainan University-Arizona State University International Tourism College (HAITC), a partnership between Arizona State University and Hainan University. This position is located in Haikou, Hainan, China, a sub-tropical island with beautiful beaches and tropical forests, known as the ‘Hawaii’ of China. We expect to attract an enthusiastic public administration specialist who will teach up to four courses per semester at the undergraduate and graduate level in a few of the following areas: emergency management, public management, public policy, public finance, urban governance, health policy, research methods, program evaluation, green development, environmental protection, e-governance, and public sector informatics.
