Job Description:
The Graduate School of Public Administration at Korea University, Sejong invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position to begin in the spring semester of 2021 (March 02, 2021) at the level of assistant or associate professor.
The successful candidate will have a broad knowledge of the field of public administration, including expertise in subfields related to our two departments: Public Administration and Public Policy.
Established in 1998, the Graduate School of Public Administration provides Master of Public Administration (MPA), Doctor of Public Administration (DPA), and Ph.D. in Public Administration and Policy as well as highly officials' courses. The graduate school is now relocated to Sejong, the new administrative city of the Republic of Korea, in the center of the country. Preferred Qualifications:
- Ph.D. in Public Administration, Public Affairs, Public Policy, Political Science, or a related field. ABD candidates will be considered but must have earned Ph.D. by the start of the 2021 Spring Semester.
- Capacity to teach in a variety of courses offered in a graduate public administration program.
- Strong research record and potential in the field, as evidenced by research publications in competitive international outlets (e.g., SSCI- or SCI-indexed journals) in the relevant areas of public administration/policy.
- English- and Korean-language proficiency is required.
